Some Satanic Festivities

 

   

In the Satanic religion, the most important of all the parties is the one that corresponds to the date of our own birth. This is in direct contradiction with the Holiness of the holy days of other religions, which build a particular god who has been created under an anthropomorphic form of our own image, demostrating that the ego is not really buried.

 

The Satanist thinks this way:

 " Why not to be really honest? In effect, if we have to create a god to our own image and similarity, why not to create him like us? " Every man is a god, if he chooses to be recognized to himself like god. Therefore, the Satanist celebrates his own birthday as the most important party of the year. After everything, is not one happier for the fact of having born that for to have born someone who is possible that we have never known? Because of it we observe the religious parties, one has to wonder: why to produce the highest tax to the birthday of a president or to a party of the history? Is not logical that this tax we produce it to the day in which we are brought to the biggest of all the worlds? After our own birthday, both more important satanic parties are the night of the Walpurgis and the Halloween or On Eve of All the Saints.

 

Walpurgis nacht - Is based on the legend of Holy Walpurgis, or Walpurga, or Walburga, as it is the epoch or the zone in which one refers to her - was born in Sussex in the ends of the 7th century or beginning of the VIIIth, and was educated in Winburn, Dorset where, after she had become a nun, she continued living for twenty-seven years in this place. In that time, and by the insistence of her uncle, San Bonifacio, and of her brother, San Wilibaldo, came, in company of other nuns, to found religious houses for the whole Germany. Her first convent she created in Bischofsheim, diocese of Mainz, and two years later, (in 754) was turned into the abbess of the convent Benedicto de Heindenhrim, inside the diocese that her brother Wilibaldo was presiding in Eichstadt, Bavaria, where other of her brothers, Winebaldo, was occupying in those days the prior's place of a monastery. To the death of his brother Winebaldo, happened in the year 760, she occupied his place, preserving the superintendence of the monastery and the convent up to her death, happened in the year 779. Her relics were transported to Eichstadt, where they remained deposited in the cavity of a rock, of which  was flowing with a kind of bituminous oil, which later should be an acquaintance as oil Walpurgis and  which it will be of a miraculous efficiency assuming against the disease.

 

The cave turned instead of pilgrimage, and a great church was constructed there. Is commemorated in several dates, but principally the 1 º of May,  this one that came to occupy the place of a former pagan festival. The surprising thing of all this, it is that the election of this date it was been considered necessary just to prove the continuation of the most important pagan festival of the year: the great apex of the spring equinox! On the First of May it has been commemorated always like the night in which all the demons, spectra, goblins and spirits appear to take to end his more frantic sprees. Sprees that, for the rest, symbolize the fruition of the spring equinox. Halloween - On Eve of All The Dead men / Samhain / Day of All The Saints is of October 31 to the 1 º of November. In his origins, the party of All the Saints was one of the big festivals of Brittany in the epoch of the Druids.

In Scotland it was associated with the time in which the spirits of the dead men, as well as the demons, witches and wizards were proving to be unusually active and propitious. Paradoxically, Eve of All the Saints was also the night in which the young men realized magic rites to determine the companion of his future marriage. The young men of the flutter they were celebrating it with great happiness and with great sensual merriment, but the major persons were putting very much determination in safeguarding his homes of the bad spirits, witches and demons, which in this night had an exceptional power. The Solstices and the Equinoxes also were celebrated as parties, since they were announcing the first day of the stations. The difference between a solstice and an equinox is merely semantic, and defines the relation between the Sun, the Moon and the fixed stars.

The solstice is applied to the Winter and to the Summer, the equinox refers to the Autumn and Spring. The summer solstice is in June, and of Winter is in December. The autumn equinox is in September and of Spring in March ... generally they fall  21 or 22 of every month. The legendary Satanic merriments are celebrated five or six weeks after these days. Rev. Other days include: The Spring equinox, Beltaine or the Night of Walpurgis, The Summer solstice, Lughnasad, The Autumn equinox, On Eve of the 1 º of November, The Winter solstice Imbloc or Candlemass, and as already I mentioned the birthday of itself.

 

 The festivities are celebrated as it continues: Spring equinox: March 21, New Year or Crux. Beltane or Walpurgisnacht: April 30, Day of desire and indulgence. Summer solstice: June 21, Day in order that you celebrate your Sense of the Humor. Lughnasad: July 31, Day to celebrate the being predador, not prey. Autumn equinox: September 21, Time to think about itself. All Hollows Eve or Halloween or SamHain: October 31, Festival of the Fire, the moment to reach our intentions with rituals of destruction, charms and Revenge. Winter solstice: December 21, The Party of being an auto-emancipated individual. Imbolc or Party of the Candles: Enero31, Day of Indulgence and Fertility. Your Birthday, when it falls down, the Celebration of Your birth and the moment to celebrate your life and your achievements.
